In the spirit of giving this holiday season, a team of Hawaiian Telcom employees donated their time to further the work of the River of Life Mission. Every day the Mission helps hundreds of people visit from all walks of life to get meals, showers, clothing or help from social workers.
In the spirit of giving this holiday season, a team of Hawaiian Telcom employees donated their time to further the work of the River of Life Mission. Every day the Mission helps hundreds of people visit from all walks of life to get meals, showers, clothing or help from social workers. There is no charge for their services so the Mission relies on in-kind gifts, financial donations and volunteers. More than 20 Brand Champs volunteered on Thursday, November 19th for both the morning and afternoon shifts by helping with kitchen or dining room prep, serving, and clean up and sorting items in the donations department. The Champs were very excited to have been able to help out the needy and spread some cheer.
