Emergency Alert System Message

Clear the Emergency Alert System or "EAS" message from your TV
If your TV is currently displaying the Emergency Alert System message, you can clear this message by following the steps below:
- Press the STB button on your remote to ensure that the remote is in STB mode.
- Point your remote at the set-top box
- Press the "Exit to TV"
button.
- Repeat the steps until messages are cleared
Please note: you must be currently viewing the EAS message on your TV in order to clear the message. If you perform the above steps while the message is not currently displayed on your TV screen, the message will periodically reappear until you perform the above steps.
