How to request an Audible Navigation Compatible Set Top Box

Audible Navigation compatible Set Top Boxes will be made available upon request. Prior to calling to receive your STB, please make sure you have the following information on hand:

• Your Hawaiian Telcom TV Account Number (15 digits)
• The number of STBs that you are requesting to be replaced
• How the STB is connected to the TV in its current location (HDMI, Component, Ethernet, etc.)
• How the STB is connected to the wall in its current location (Ethernet, Coax, Wireless)
• Which room the STB is located (Bedroom, Living room, Garage, etc.)
• What type of STB is being replaced (a DVR STB or Non-DVR STB)
• Doctors note that states Audible Navigation is a required feature

*STBs are in limited supply and are ordered by approved request.

How to Enable Audible Navigation

1. Press the A button on the top left of your remote. This button is third from the top left and triangular in shape.
2. Press the right arrow button to navigate to the menu options. This is the fifth button from the top right that is curved in shape.
3. Press the OK button to select Enabled. This is the large circular button to the left of the right arrow button. This is the fifth button from the top in the center.
4. Press the right arrow button to navigate to the Save menu. This is the fifth button from the top left that is curved in shape.
5. Press the OK button to save your Enabled setting.
6. Press the Exit button to exit out of the menu settings. This is the seventh button from the top right that is oval in shape.
7. Continue to use your TV as normal, and the Audible Navigation will announce the menu selections and channel information as you navigate through the menus and guides.

How to Disable Audible Navigation

1. Press the A button on the top left of your remote. This button is third from the top left and triangular in shape.
2. Press the right arrow button to navigate to the menu options. This is the fifth button from the top right that is curved in shape.
3. Press the down arrow button to navigate to the disable menu setting. This is the sixth button from the top center that is curved in shape.
4. Press the OK button to select disabled. This is the large circular button to the left of the right arrow button. This is the fifth button from the top in the center.
5. Press the right arrow button to navigate to the Save menu. This is the fifth button from the top left that is curved in shape.
6. Press the OK button to save your Enabled setting.
7. Press the Exit button to exit out of the menu settings. This is the seventh button from the top right that is oval in shape.
