Installing ConnectCaddy App

Install ConnectCaddy from Google Play or the Apple App store. Then tap the ConnectCaddy icon to start the app.

Note: The Mobile device running ConnectCaddy app needs to be connected to the same local WiFi network (WLAN) as the Zyxel device.

Connecting App to Zyxel Device

1. Make sure the mobile device running the ConnectCaddy app is connected to the home WiFi network. Next, launch ConnectCaddy app by tapping on the icon. The app will automatically look for Zyxel device and connect to it.



2. When ConnectCaddy App is used for the first time, it will prompt the user for a password. Use the password printed on the back label of the Zyxel device.



3. After login the user is taken to the Home Network screen showing all the client devices connected to the home network.

WiFi Network Setting

1. Home WiFi network settings can be viewed and changed from the Home Network screen. Tap the (i) icon located on the top right corner to access the WiFi network settings. Here you can view and change the WiFi name and password for both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi networks. To change any of the settings, tap on the Pencil icon. After making changes, tap the Check button on the top right corner to save them.

Setting a Custom Wireless Password

To customize your Wireless Password, see instructions below. If you choose not to customize your Wireless Password, the default Wireless Password will be used.

1. From the Home page, go to Networks Settings at the bottom of the screen.
2. Click on Wireless.
3. Choose a Band you would like to rename: 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz.
4. Enter a Password in the Password text box.
5. Click Apply.
