Redeeming your Amazon code for Amazon Prime

1. Redeem your Amazon gift code using an Internet browser on your laptop or desktop computer. Checking out on the Gift of Prime is not available through the Amazon Shopping app at this time.
2. Go to the Gift of Prime page, and select the gift of Prime for 12 months, and click the “Add Prime to Cart” button.
3. Proceed to checkout and choose the gift options. Enter your email address which should be the same email address used for your Amazon account and Prime membership in the “Recipient’s email” field box and your preferred delivery date.
4. Click the “Save gift options” button to continue.
5. Select a payment balance and check your available balance. It will show “Use $119.00 of your XXXX gift card balance.” Click the “Continue” button to continue reviewing your order.
6. Click the “Place your order” button to submit your order.
7. At this point, if you already have a Prime membership go to your "Manage Prime Membership" page on your Amazon account and click "End Membership". Make sure to click on "Continue to Cancel" until you get a confirmation email that your Prime membership has been cancelled.
8. Go to your email inbox and open the email from Amazon. Click the “Start enjoying Prime” button to redeem your Prime Gift Membership.
9. You will need to verify your account information. You’ll be taken to a page that says “You are signed in with [youremailaddress]. Click the button below to confirm that you would like to use this account”. Press the “Continue” button to confirm that you would like to use that Amazon account for your Prime Gift Membership.
10. You are now all set up for your Free year of Amazon Prime!
