1. Begin by opening Outlook Express 5 for Mac

2. Select Tools from the main pull-down menu and click on Accounts

3. Select the Mail tab and click New

4. Click Configure Account Manually on the bottom

5. Select the Account Settings tab

6. Enter your Hawaiian Telcom E-mail Address in the Account Name field

7. Enter your full name in the Name field

8. Enter your Hawaiian Telcom E-mail Address in the E-mail Address field

9. In the Account ID field enter your Hawaiian Telcom E-mail Address

10. In the POP Server field enter mail.hawaiiantel.net

11. Enter your Hawaiian Telcom logon password in the Password field and check the Save Password box next to it

12. For the SMTP Server field enter smtp.hawaiiantel.net

13. Click the button labeled Click here for advanced sending options

14. Make sure the box labeled SMTP server requires authentication and also be sure the option Use same settings as incoming mail server underneath is selected

15. Click the close button in the top left corner of the window

16. Lastly click OK in the Edit accounts window
