Rose Hauser, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
As Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer, Rose Hauser is responsible for providing the leadership necessary to develop and implement IT solutions that address Hawaiian Telcom’s current back-office issues as well as support the delivery of new products and services. She joined the company in September 2008.

Ms. Hauser has extensive experience in information technology and billing systems in the telecommunications industry. She also has a broad range of experience with Enterprise Risk Management and Sarbanes–Oxley compliance from an IT perspective.

Most recently, she served as Vice President – Delivery Services at Freddie Mac. Prior to that, she was Vice President – Finance, Human Resources, Billing and Unified Messaging at MCI.

From 2000 to 2003, Ms. Hauser served as Vice President – OSS Systems, Billing and Architecture for XO Communications where she led the successful national deployment of the strategic OSS, Billing and Order platform. Under her leadership, production and development costs were reduced by more than $7 million.

From 1996 through 2000, she held several executive positions at Bell Atlantic, including Vice President of Strategic Billing, Business Solutions and Group Information Officer.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master of Science in Finance from Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts.
